Some more 15mm replacements.
Starting to add/redo some of my Soviet 15mm force since I painted them before I really understood 15mm and had my better colour palettes established.
I knocked out these two BA-64 scout cars, and three T-70 light tanks yesterday. Not my best work, but suitable.

Revised FSF prototype stuff.
With some enthusiasm from friends for FSF lately I've been working on polishing up the playtesting stuff. Ordered some replacement bits, some updated cards/tokens/battle mat, etc.
Also, working on units to finish up my not-Dacian army. Finished off two stands of heavy infantry and a hero. The last unit is under work at the moment and then I can shift to something new (and likely the Battle Masters sets!) I guess these are technically the first seven minis of 2024?

Games!: Famine, Sword, & Fire - and a new side project!?
Been running a bunch of games of Famine, Sword, & Fire lately. Some pictures included from the last game.
In related news, I've decided I'd like to be able to run FSF (or a toned down version) at conventions in the future, but I don't want to risk my Dacians (which are lovingly painted and rather delicate), so how to build a quick "robust" pair of armies that I can field easily?
I decided to scour eBay and order several lots of Battle Masters miniatures from the 1992 board game. They're mainly simple monopose miniatures, and simple/robust sculpts. They "should" paint easy and give me two opposing armies I can run (while also hitting a nice nostalgia spot for older gamers).
The first batch from eBay arrived and I've been prepping them for recovery. Removed all the stickers and bits...tossed them in the ultrasonic with alcohol and brushed them all with dish soap, etc. Disassembled the ones (as these don't need glue). I have some more batches en route this week. When they arrive, I should have - more or less - two nicely opposed armies which I can hopefully paint in a reasonable amount of time.
May not be done for 6-months or more, but it'll be a fun nostalgia trip.

Siege of Augusta 2024!
Got back from Siege of Augusta yesterday. Managed to run 15 games over the two days, five of each: Shoot N' Skedaddle, Scrapheap, and Caverns, Crypts, & Catacombs.
Had
a lot of fun, lost my voice, and got to introduce the games to a lot of
people. I forgot to take many pictures, but I gathered several from
other convention-goers.
It was the most busy Siege of Augusta I've attended (I've gone maybe 5-6 times in the past 10 years).
Everyone
seemed to enjoy themselves, though many had complaints about the hotel
which is slowly becoming more run-down each year.

Games!: Famine, Sword, & Fire playtest.
Got in a larger and very close-run game of Famine, Sword, & Fire last night. My human army vs. my buddy's undead army (using some of my orcs as mercenaries).
