After 11 years of service...

I picked up my first neoprene battle mat back in 2014 or 2015 from Deepcut Studios.  It was their original 'Steppe' pattern and I used it endlessly in numerous games as my "go to" grass mat.

 

Today, while sorting mats, the edges are finally gone - having cracked and become tacky, and crumbly.  I debated giving it away or throwing it out, but then decided to actually cut it up into two small 28"x38" small mats for demo'ing games or small skirmish games.  Not even sure how often I'll use them, but better than throwing it out!
