A few times a year I manage to hook up with my buddies from another nearby city - and we get some games in! We had two games of FSF yesterday.

Some American 15mm...and a big ole' game of FSF
Many moons ago when we 'started' Battlegroup, several of my friends bought in and then predictably interest faded. One of my buddies painted up a handful of Shermans and some American infantry, but had several spare boxes, etc. In trade for two days of hard painting labour - he gave me his 15mm American 'stash'.
While I don't particularly love WW2 American vehicles or gear, etc...I'm doing quick tabletop paintjobs on the stuff to have it on hand for a new set of WW2 rules I'm writing for my remaining one or two buddies who want to play.
This is the first batch I knocked out. While my buddy had some basic Shermans painted, I did up two M10s, two M36's, five M3 halftracks and an M16 anti-aircraft halftrack (the quad fifties are glued with a spare 'brace' to try to keep them from snapping...)
We had a few games of Famine, Sword, & Fire this weekend as well. I didn't take any pictures but snagged some from my buddies.

My friend's Undead arise from decades of slumber!
I have a friend who has an old Warhammer Undead army from the 90's and she's been updating them and filling units with some new plastics. Most excellently, she has designed some 40mm(ish) 3D plates to mount her 20mm bases Warhammer minis, so she doesn't have to rebase a whole army.
This will let her slot her army into Famine, Sword, & Fire while keeping the minis usable for Warhammer, Warhammer Quest, etc.
It's awesome seeing these 30+ year old minis getting back to the tabletop in the next few weeks!

Vampire count number three!
As mentioned before, my 'head canon' for the current undead force I'm doing is that the four vampires I've acquired are a squabbling 'family' of vampires (likely a set of nobles or...not nobles? all turned by a great vampire who has since disappeared).
While not yet named, the big guy on the chariot is the strongman...but the slowest of the bunch. The winged vampire I did after is the brash, cruel, crazy 'young' vampire. The more powerful of the four are the remaining two - this is the first. He'll be the standard general in most of my games - based to slot into a unit of bodyguard miniatures (which I haven't picked out yet).
