The dream that never was...

Many moons ago, I had a thought...why not try to find a Wyvern to stick a Hobgoblin rider on top of?  I searched around and finally found a cool 3D print (actually intended for 10mm scale), that matched the 'style' of the 90's inspired Fabelzel Chaos Dwarf line.

 

Many months later I'd finally gotten a copy printed by a buddy and then...this happened.

 

Sometimes no matter what I do, I'm not happy with something.  However, it's done and painted and I'll just try to ignore this one.

 

 

Forgot about this...a game of Famine, Sword, & Fire (yes, again!)

A week or two ago, we got together for a 2v2 game of Famine, Sword, & Fire and I forgot to take any pictures.  I snagged these from a friend.

 

Chaos Dwarfs allied with Orcs & Goblins were able to defeat the Bretonnians allied with Tilean Mercenaries.

A few pictures of the current status of the Chaos Dwarf force - now quickly exceeding my ability to capture it in a convenient picture.  At present this force is perhaps 75-80% complete.  I still have a sizable pile of stuff left to paint/add.

The Last of the Wolfriders

I finished (hopefully) the last six wolf riders for my Chaos Dwarf army.  I think I'm done with them, and can start tackling more proper Chaos Dwarfs.

 

These will be skirmishing archers, used to unlock additional deployment options for the army.

 

 

The Chaos Dwarf Army as of now...

 Hot on the heels of the mercenary army pictures, I snapped some pictures of the current Chaos Dwarf army.  They're much more compressed to fit into my mediocre phone's camera.

A larger game of FSF was had...

We managed to run a 2v2 game today of Famine, Sword, & Fire.

 

The scenario was pretty simple: Bretonnians and their Dwarf allies were attempting to perform a ritual, and the greenskins (Orcs, Goblins and my Hobgoblins) were having none of it!  Rushing to a ritual site (which was protected from missile attacks and spells), we managed to get enough done to win a decision at the end.

 

I only took some pictures - but I'll see if I can get some more, as I always get too into the game and then forget to take more pics.
