Another eBay rescue...

I didn't have plans for more Dire Avengers, but then these showed up in a very reasonable eBay auction.  I'll be choosing the best seven of them for another squad.

They're already in the super clean, softening up the old paint.

Something wicked this way comes...

So, after being gifted a couple of old Eldar dreadnoughts (after having built my previous two) I thought to myself "why...or how could I make a third, possibly fourth?".

Well, this is how.

While I'm not super duper in love with the  War Walker legs, I wanted to try it.  He leans a bit forward, but there's not much you can do with it, short of cutting/re-posing the legs.  I need to find and magnetize a D-cannon bit for this guy ---- seems fitting for a Harlequin dreadnought.

The walking dead...

I've added some Wraithguard to my Eldar army finally!  I was planning a couple of squads of these guys, but the kit was a pain (lots of mold shift, terrible gate locations etc.).  I will probably do at least another one at some point.

Being used for 2nd edition...these Wraithguard have been built as pure ones - no Wraithblade nonsense, no flamers etc.  Just good ole fashioned Wraithguard!

Exarchs

After doing a bunch of Old West miniatures lately I went back to my Eldar project (which has more models incoming!).

A Fire Dragon Exarch and a Howling Banshee Exarch - slightly modified with a shuriken pistol replacing the laspistol.

Save the Craftworld Update

So, here is the current status of the Yredis Craftworld.

It's missing one or two figures (finishing up touches on a final Dark Reaper and Maugan Ra didn't make the photo shoot).  I did up an actual army list for 2nd edition Eldar this morning, and here is the result:

Army Size: 5436 Points

Composition: HQ (15%), Troops (52%), Support (27%), and Special Characters (6%).

This includes wargear for all the units.  Not much in the way of wargear really, but it's all in there.  Many more units/figures to come, so this army may actually hit somewhere north of 6500-7000 points when complete.
