Some highlights from a game of Famine, Sword, & Fire.

 My buddies got together today for a rather large game of Famine, Sword, & Fire.  The greenskins finally defeated the Bretonnians.

 

 

More minis...and a game of FSF!

Finished up another four bases for the city watch (bringing the unit up to a normal eight-block).  Finished the first small unit of night goblin archers (they'll probably be expanded to eight-block later).  Also did some city watch champions/heroes, and a hero to inspire my mercenary artillery.

 

 

I also snapped some pictures of my last game of FSF with another local buddy.  Forgot to snap more.  It was a test for an "escape" scenario.  We called it at the end, as close to a tie, so we'll re-visit the win conditions, etc.

 

 

I paint at 0200 hours, like most people...

Around twelve hours ago I had 14 miniaturs primed.  I sat down to maybe paint two...then I started on the other 12, and then I kept going back to the painting desk until a few minutes ago I snapped pictures of two additional units for FSF.

 

Up first is a rather quick/lazy kitbash of a Goblin shaman, using some simple spearman pieces and some doo-dads.

 

 

Up next is a first detachment of City Watch or Town Guards.  This is from the new "Guards of Traitor's Toll" game, but I just bought the box of minis direct from Wargames Atlantic as I thought they'd be cool.  they're a very decent kit - lots of bits.  The box is 24 minis, so I'll have another detachment later (and they can be combined into a company of eight bases).
