I'm not 100% sold on the concept, but I like them better than anything else I've tried. I have two more I may do in pirate scheme, not sure.

War Walkers...version 3...
So, I'm still not happy with war-walkers. Mainly because I can't paint the old ones well enough, and they're a pain in the ass to transport. The new ones look terrible. So what did I do? I kit-bashed some Robotech scout pods and old War Walker legs into a...new war walker?
I'm not 100% sold on the concept, but I like them better than anything else I've tried. I have two more I may do in pirate scheme, not sure.

Love this! I too had trouble with the metal & don't like the plastics. There's another conversion I liked quite a bit where the pilot is replaced with a metal wraithlord face(?), may try one of these routes for myself one day in the future: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/408279522456777834/
