We're 23 days into the new year, and I've now painted...one miniature. And part of the miniature was actually painted in 2017. Been struggling with motivation lately, and I've spent a lot of time actually working on terrain (I'll do a terrain post at some point).
It helps that my main 40K armies are actually quite full and are within distance of being "done". I have a lot of miniatures sitting around which I haven't painted - something I've avoided for a couple of years and was quite proud of.
Here's another Chaos Warpsmith, made from the ever-fantastic old metal Iron Priest model for the Space Wolves. I removed a little bit of the iconography but there are still some obvious nods.
Very nice colouring on this guy. I really like this fig, the helmet shape speaks to an older period....very appropriate for traitor legions. I too am having a slow pace to start off the year and, curiously, have been working on a bunch of terrain. The hobby stars are in strange alignment.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I do genuinely love this figure. I would have preferred a slightly better paintjob, but I'm not going to go back and re-do it!
