The dungeon tide continues...Troll!

Another dungeon beastie painted up this week.  A really lovely sculpted troll from Massive Darkness.  Very 90's GW stylying. Nice figure, super easy and fast to paint.

Cockatrice/Cockatrix.

This lovely mini is from Massive Darkness and is one of the things which encouraged me to buy the game in the first place...lovely sculpt.  I tried to mimic a colour scheme I saw online, with...admittedly mixed results.  Happy enough with it though.

Scorpius turret.

Finished a resin Scorpius turret for the Rhino-Russ.  I only noticed after the pictures that I hadn't even settled the turret plate in correctly.  This option will add some needed indirect firepower to my Wandering Sons.

New(er) Ogre.

Following the Reaper metal ogre, here's something different; a twin-heade plastic ogre from the 'Massive Darkness' kickstarter set.

New Ogre.

Finally got around to finishing up a Reaper metal ogre I've had on my desk for a year.  I love the sculpt, but I suck at painting it...I restarted a couple times and I'm still not in love with it, but it's done and that'll be that!

Games!: Shoot N' Skedaddle, and Warhammer 40K

I was lucky enough to get in two games of Shoot N' Skedaddle this past Friday - both played in the adobe town terrain.

The games went really well, and ended in a blood bath - moreso the second game.

The next day I hosted/ran a 2v2 game of Warhammer 40K between some buddies I had over.

Two Tyranids players took on a Death Guard army allied with some "bad" Knights.  After four hours or so the game ended...in a draw, dead even on points.  Good times were had and a lot of things died.  Inspired by this, the next game will hopefully feature more narrative/story elements.
