The dream that never was...

Many moons ago, I had a thought...why not try to find a Wyvern to stick a Hobgoblin rider on top of?  I searched around and finally found a cool 3D print (actually intended for 10mm scale), that matched the 'style' of the 90's inspired Fabelzel Chaos Dwarf line.

 

Many months later I'd finally gotten a copy printed by a buddy and then...this happened.

 

Sometimes no matter what I do, I'm not happy with something.  However, it's done and painted and I'll just try to ignore this one.

 

 

FSF Games with a shocking lack of photos...

This weekend I met a friend on Columbia for two games of FSF.  I have many friends about 3 hours away in Charlotte, and my main gaming group here in Charleston.  So, while we frequently can't make the travel in either direction...we decided to test meeting halfway at a game shop called Firefly Games in Columbia.

 

It's dead center between the two cities (well, distance-wise), and we may pursue more game days like this in the future.  Myself and my buddy were the test run.

 

We played two games and of course, I only took a handful of photos...

 

 

The state of Brivoli's Great Company.

This force began as a small "opfor" or opposing force, a kind of loaner army to keep on hand, and to have an optional "good guy" (as good as mercenaries can be, I reckon...) force.  I decided over time to expand it to a proper full army.  This army is maybe 2-3 units away from being complete.  It's been a fun thing to cobble together.

 

 

Brivoli's Big Guns

Whipped up these two cannons and crew for Brivoli's Great Company.  I debated building one as a mortar, but with my Chaos Dwarfs alredy possessing a mortar, I wanted to give them some dedicated simple cannons.

 

This will allow Brivoli's Great Company to be run as nearly a gunline when needed (not sure that works well enough in FSF).
