Fireforge Games Peasants and a maybe-sorta-kinda Civil War project.

I speed-painted a few more peasants for use as "Peasant Mobs" in FSF - a scenario unit.

I also finished my first Confederate battalion from Warlord Games's 'Epic' line of Civil War minis.  I havent' decided if this is a project I'll continue to pursue (I picked up a few boxes during a sale several months ago).  They're not hard to paint, but tedious...

  1. Although I am really reluctant to start a new project, I am fascinated by the Warlord Epic stuff, especially the Punic Wars range. I imagine once you developed a system to paint them, you could get through a batch pretty quick.

    1. Yeah, I'd be more interested in fantasy at the scale (though I refuse to play "a game" at two scales!).

  2. The peasants look amazing -- love them! I can't imagine painting that block of troops. There are lots of people who are snapping up the various sets, though...

    1. Yeah, I think the Civil War project may be canned...I know my desire is to have a "big" game, and I don't think I could push myself through that much painting. I wouldn't be happy until I had numerous units of cav, zouaves, artillery, infantry - for both sides, etc. I just don't think I'm up to it!
