I finally bit the bullet and painted the last unit of squig hoppers I had on hand. This completes my smaller narrative Night Goblins army. I hate painting these things, so I'm extremely happy to be done with them. Speed-painted, quality be damned.
A friend of mine brought along a unit of squigs for his Dragon Rampant army last game. He was very happy with their whimsical nature. He's a big GW fan, even though he doesn't really play the games anymore. Always comparing every game or setting to GW lore...ha, ha! Your squigs look great!!
ReplyDeleteI like their concept - I just hate building/painting those models (why the hell did I buy two damn boxes!?). Also...I had painted normal squigs, so after 30 of the bastards...I'm done.
